M60UB - High capacity Uni-mill
Hanningfield India has developed the M60-UB Uni-Mill, a high-performance milling solution designed to complement high-capacity granulators.
The M60-UB is the world’s highest-throughput underdriven conical mill, engineered for large-scale particle sizing of both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products. It features a belt-driven impeller rotating within a screen set at an optimized angle, achieving precise comminution through a combination of compression and shearing as particles pass over the screen surface.

Design and Construction
- This is a spacer (gap setting) less model that requires no manual intervention to ensure zero metal-to-metal contact. Another advantage of this is a quick tooling changeover with a guarantee of the closest possible gap every time.
- As a standard, all contact parts are made of 316L stainless steel along with FDA-compliant parts. Non-contact parts are made of 304 stainless steel. The finishes and construction materials can further be upgraded or downgraded as per the requirements.
Customise your mill
- The M60UB can be customized to be placed as per the requirement of your line. The mill’s discharge and feeder chute can be attached with valve assemblies, vacuum transfer systems, silicon cap mounting ring, or any bespoke design required for process integration.
- All equipment customizations can be supplied with full validation documentation.
